End of Year Disaster Relief and Community Outreach Story about Helping Others in Need
Radians Donates Over $500,000 in PPE and Apparel to Support
Disaster Relief and Community Outreach Across the U.S.
Memphis, TN—December 30, 2025—Radians, a leading manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), recently donated more than $500,000 in safety products and apparel to support disaster relief and community outreach efforts across the United States. Donations were delivered to Whatcom County in Washington state, Matthew 25 Ministries in Ohio, and St. Patrick Community Outreach in Memphis, where Radians is headquartered.
Supporting Flood Recovery in Whatcom County, Washington
Just before the holidays, severe flooding caused widespread damage throughout Whatcom County, including the communities of Bellingham, Sumas, Nooksack, Everson, and Burlington. Homes, schools, roads, and city facilities were heavily impacted by record-setting floodwaters.
To assist with cleanup and recovery efforts, British Petroleum reached out to National Safety Inc., a key safety supplier to the refinery. National Safety Inc. then contacted Radians to help supply essential safety gear. Radians responded quickly by picking, packing, and shipping five pallets of PPE just days before Christmas. The donated safety products are now being distributed locally to support cleanup, rebuilding, and recovery efforts throughout the county.
Equipping National Disaster Relief Teams
Radians also shipped nearly 70 pallets of PPE and protective apparel to Matthew 25 Ministries, a respected humanitarian organization that responds to disasters across the United States and around the world. The donation included work gloves, safety eyewear, high-visibility apparel, workwear, and other essential protective items used by volunteers and individuals affected by disasters.
Keeping Memphians Warm During Winter
To support neighbors facing hardship during the coldest months of the year, Radians donated 13 pallets of heated jackets, winter gloves, and long-sleeved Henley shirts to St. Patrick Community Outreach. These items were distributed through the organization’s Embers of Hope and Mobile Food Drive programs, helping Memphians stay warm, dry, and safe during winter conditions.
“Disaster relief and community outreach top our list of core values,” said Mike Tutor, CEO of Radians. “We are honored to support these organizations and the vital work they do to help individuals and families during times of need.”
